Procurement Specialist
BAMCo is looking for a Procurement Specialist to support our nationwide trailer maintenance operations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for sourcing and purchasing the parts, materials, and services our technicians need, on time and within budget.
What You’ll Do:
- Source and purchase trailer parts, shop tools, and vendor services
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines
- Manage supplier relationships and performance
- Track purchasing data using our ERP and CMMS systems.
- Work closely with operations and field teams to ensure parts availability
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience (fleet or transportation industry preferred)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems and CMMS systems
- Solid Excel skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of trailer components or service operations a plus
