Cyber Security Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer to protect our digital infrastructure, defend sensitive customer and operational data, and support a growing technology-driven business.
You’ll work closely with IT, operations, and leadership to design, implement, and manage security systems and protocols across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats, incidents, and vulnerabilities
- Design and implement firewalls, encryption, access control, and intrusion detection systems
- Conduct regular audits, penetration testing, and risk assessments
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, protocols, and awareness training
- Manage endpoint protection, secure cloud environments, and third-party integrations
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, CMMC) and customer security requirements
- Collaborate with IT to secure CMMS, ERP systems, and IoT/telematics integrations (e.g., Samsara)
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network security engineering
- Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection, SIEM tools, and cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Familiarity with compliance standards and vulnerability management tools
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and incident response skills
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or GSEC)
- Highly organized, analytical, and able to document systems and incidents clearly
