Accounting and Payroll

BAMCo keeps fleets moving—and we’re looking for a detail-driven Accounting & Payroll Specialist to keep our financial operations running smoothly.
In this role, you’ll ensure accurate accounting, timely payroll processing, and full compliance with tax and reporting requirements—all while supporting our growing team and delivering precise, actionable financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule for multi-state employees
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice tracking and reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries and monthly account reconciliations
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Generate timely financial reports for management review
  • Maintain employee payroll records and respond to payroll-related inquiries promptly

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in accounting and payroll processing, preferably in a multi-state environment
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, accounting principles, and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with accounting/payroll software and Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-department collaboration
  • Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage biweekly and monthly payroll processing for hourly and salaried staff
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for leadership review
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and year-end closing processes
  • Collaborate with HR on employee onboarding and payroll setup
  • Provide financial insights to support business decision-making

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and payroll
  • Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Reliable transportation (for hybrid or onsite roles)
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills
